Leeds United’s Liam Bridcutt was part of the Brighton & Hove Albion side who reached the play offs in 2013.
Liam Bridcutt has told the Yorkshire Evening Post that he believes Leeds United have a stronger squad than Brighton & Hove Albion did when he was at the AMEX Stadium.
Bridcutt played for Brighton in the 2012/13 season, and played a key part as the Seagulls made it into the play offs.
Albion came close to promotion, but fell short in the promotion deciding fixtures, after losing to Crystal Palace.

With Leeds now gunning for promotion too, Bridcutt will be desperate to ensure that his side does not fall short again.
And the former Sunderland man believes that Leeds have the added quality required to get over the line.
“In terms of quality, we might have a little bit extra here,” he said, “but when I was Brighton it was a similar in terms of the attitude of the players. We all got along, we all wanted to get the best out of each other, we all worked hard and we did everything for each other. It served us well and that season was a bit unlucky in the end.”

Leeds are currently in third place in the Championship table, and may not even have to go into the lottery of the play offs if they keep up their current form.
The Whites have strung together a brilliant run of results to close the gap on the top two to six points.
Leeds are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Yorkshire rivals Barnsley at Oakwell.
