Brighton fans are not keen on a rumoured move for Leeds striker.
And despite Wood finishing the 2016/17 season as the Championship’s top scorer with 27 strikes, Seagulls fans are not keen.
The reaction has shown that fans are of the view that Wood is the wrong type of striker for them, too similar to the players they have, and there are big question marks over whether he can translate his Leeds form into success in the Premier League.

It is claimed by The Sun that Brighton were preparing a £12 million offer for the Leeds striker, who scored in the club’s opening Championship game of 2017/18 yesterday, a 3-2 win at Bolton – a poacher’s header.
This offer is unlikely to tempt Leeds, who The Mirror report value the New Zealand international at £20 million.
Brighton found out last season all about Chris Wood as he netted twice in an impressive 2-0 win for Leeds against them at Elland Road back in March.

Wood had a loan spell at Brighton earlier in his career back in 2010/11 when he scored nine goals in 31 games when they were in League One.
The club has stepped up two levels and fans are not keen on bringing Wood back, and took to Twitter to voice their displeasure at the rumours…
