Brighton and Hove Albion have received an answer from striker target Emiliano Sala according to reports.

Brighton are in the market for additions during the January transfer window as are big rivals Crystal Palace.
The Seagulls, like the Eagles, have made signing a striker one of their top priorities this month with links to a host of players at home and abroad.
And according to reports Chris Hughton submitted a ‘concrete offer’ for Nantes’ Argentine striker Emiliano Sala.

But despite courting a move to the Premier League, after much deliberation Sala has turned down the chance of a move to the Amex, as reported by L’Equipe.
Brighton were ready to offer Nantes more than £10m but after several hours spent thinking about the proposal Sala rejected the opportunity and instead signed a contract extension with the Ligue 1 side.
With time running out in the window should Hughton turn his attentions to battling Palace in the race to sign wantaway West Ham striker Diafra Sakho?

Sakho has a formidable scoring ratio for the Hammers with a goal every 2.5 games.
He has struggled with injuries in the last two seasons and is the subject of serious interest from Roy Hodgson according to Sky Sports.
The Hammers are reportedly willing to accept bids of over £10 million for the Senegalese, which clearly would not be an issue for Brighton given the Sala bid.
