Shkodran Mustafi wrote on his Instagram story that Arsenal youngster, Bukayo Saka, has a ‘bright future’ ahead of him.
This comes after the Arsenal forward saw his penalty saved during England’s Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy on Sunday.
Despite that nightmare moment for Saka, the Arsenal academy product had an outstanding tournament for his country, especially given that he was one of the youngest players competing at the event.
A lot of supporters, current players and ex-players rallied around the 19-year-old after that moment, especially given the vile racist abuse that was directed towards him.
One of his former teammates in Mustafi wrote this message on his Instagram story to the creative talent:
“We still all love you,” said Mustafi. “You still have a bright future bro.”

Ever since Saka broke onto the scene under Unai Emery, his career has continued to rise regardless of what has been around him.
Whether Arsenal have stagnated or under-performed, his levels have never dropped and that has continued on the international stage.
There’s no doubt that he will perform in many major tournaments in years to come.
And for him, he will one day hope that he has the chance to turn that nightmare moment into a winning moment for his country.
