Leeds United skipper Liam Bridcutt and winger Hadi Sacko are both fit to face Newcastle United on Friday.

Leeds United manger, Garry Monk, has received a timely boost ahead of their trip to St James’ Park after Captain Liam Bridcutt and winger Hadi Sacko has both been declared fit, according to reports from the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Both Sacko and Bridcutt picked up knocks in the recent 1-0 defeat to Reading. Sacko picked up an ankle injury, while Bridcutt has been struggling with his Achilles.
Bridcutt, the Leeds United skipper, played till the 72nd minute in the 2-0 loss at Brentford, and missed Saturday’s home game with an Achilles problem.
Sacko, on the other hand, missed the last games with an ankle injury. However, he is in contention to return to action against Newcastle United.
“Hadi Sacko and Liam Bridcutt will be back in the squad so that’s good news,” said Monk, as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Meanwhile, young left-back Tyler Denton and no 2 goalkeeper Marco Silvestri remains two major absentees for Leeds, with both suffering from a knee injuries.
Leeds are fifth in the Championship with 72 points, and will be looking to further strengthen their grip on a play-off place. In the corresponding fixture between the two teams, Leeds lost 2-0 to Newcastle on their home turf.
Monk believes that Leeds are better equipped to face the Magpies now than when they met earlier. Newcastle are heading into this match on the back of 2-1 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday, and will be looking to avoid another defeat.
