Chelsea reportedly want to sign Jordan Pickford from Everton in the summer transfer window.

According to The Express, Chelsea are interested in signing Pickford from Premier League rivals Everton in the summer transfer window.
It has also been reported that the Toffees have opened talks with the former Sunderland goalkeeper regarding a new contract in order to fend off interest from the London club.
Former USA international striker McBride – who had a loan spell at Everton from Columbus Crew in 2003 – has predicted that the 24-year-old goalkeeper will not leave the Toffees for Chelsea this summer.
McBride told ESPN FC about Pickford’s future: “I just think Everton are still in the realm of building. They don’t want to see a goalkeeper that’s very important to them go. Chelsea are interested, but Everton are not going to let him go.”

Everton stay
Leaving Everton for Chelsea in the summer transfer window would be a step up for Pickford, but it is hard to see the Toffees sell one of their best players.
Pickford – who earns £60,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and joined the Toffees from Sunderland only last summer.
