Brian McBride is a big fan of the Everton talent it would seem.
Brian McBride has told ESPN that he would like to see the “exceptional” Tom Davies play more for Everton.
The 19-year-old is one of the most exciting young players at Everton these days and earned a cameo appearance in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Stoke City.
A lot is expected from the teenager after breaking into Ronald Koeman’s side in the second half of last season, scoring twice and setting up three in 18 Premier League starts.

And McBride, who had a loan spell at Goodison Park during his Premier League spell, says that he wants to see more of the youngster this season.
He told ESPN: “I think [he] is an exceptional young player and a talented midfielder who, unlike many midfielders in any league, he has that capability to break down defence himself.
“I’d like to see him play more.”
If Everton sign Gylfi Sigurdsson then the competition for places will only increase and it remains to be seen what kind of role Davies will have.
Having spent over £100 million before Sigurdsson, Koeman simply has to deliver a top-four finish at the bare minimum, and relying on teenagers may not be advisable for the Dutch manager for most of this season.
