The Brentford ace would be an excellent addition for Swansea City.
Swans boss Paul Clement faces an incredibly difficult task if he is to guide his side to a successful Premier League campaign this season, following the sale of the club’s best player – Gylfi Sigurdsson.
He will surely be prioritising the addition of a direct replacement for the Icelandic star over the course of the next two weeks, before the transfer window slams shut.
And with this in mind, the Welsh outfit should make a move for Bees ace Jota, who was sensational for his club in the Championship last term.

The Spanish star scored 12 goals and chipped in with five assists in just 21 league outings for Brentford, and those kind of numbers would surely prove to be crucial to Clement’s side in the immediate aftermath of Sigurdsson’s exit.
The 26-year-old can play anywhere along the front-line, but is perhaps at his most effective when deployed in the number 10 slot just behind the main striker, which makes him the perfect fit for Swansea’s favoured 4-2-3-1 formation.
Jota’s tight ball control, impeccable technique and willingness to shoot from distance would certainly help fill the void left behind by Sigurdsson at the Liberty Stadium, and Clement should not hesitate to sign him.
According to the Sun, he could be available for as little as £8 million this summer, and that would represent fantastic value in today’s day and age.
