Thomas Frank is batting away speculation linking him with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur job, telling The Athletic that he is ‘very happy’ at Premier League high-flyers Brentford.
As recently as December, Frank insisted that there were still a few chapters left to be written in West London.
Brentford are enjoying the longest unbeaten run of any top-flight side – extending it with a 3-2 triumph over Fulham on Monday night – and could yet secure European qualification for the first time in their history.

Tottenham are reportedly stepping up their pursuit of a new head coach already with the underwhelming Conte era limping to a rather disappointing conclusion; Roberto de Zerbi, Luis Enrique and Thomas Tuchel among the early candidates (Sky Sports).
Frank, however, had shown little interest when other Premier League jobs became available in the past and his tune is not changing even with Spurs dugout set to become vacant.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank issues blunt response to Tottenham links
“First, (Tottenham) have a manager,” Frank begins. “Which is a manager I have studied for years and I admire massively. I think he has achieved some fantastic results. So I hope he will do well, and I hope Spurs do well.
“Secondly, I am very, very happy here at Brentford.”
49-year-old Frank has taken Brentford from the Championship to the verge of the European places in less than two years; claiming some famous scalps against Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea among the way.
Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara, while hailing the remarkable work Frank has done in his current role, believes that a despondent Spurs fanbase need ‘a lift’. And there is one man capable of turning those frowns into smiles once again.
“I think Thomas Frank is an absolutely fantastic manager. But I think what Tottenham need, right now, is a lift for the fans. And I think (Mauricio) Pochettino is that,” O’Hara tells talkSPORT; the Argentine’s name ringing around in the aftermath of that drab Champions League exit at the hands of AC Milan.
“I think he is a brilliant manager, and I think he would do well. (But) does Thomas Frank give you a lift?”
