Elland Road will play host to the Whites of Marcelo Bielsa and Thomas Frank’s Bees in the Championship tonight.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has spoken highly of Leeds United’s “fantastic football” and his admiration for Marcelo Bielsa ahead of the Bees’ Championship trip to Elland Road to face the Whites, as per the Wandsworth Guardian.
The Londoners will be hoping to get back on track after a mixed start to the season which began with a surprise home loss to Birmingham City, before a win over Middlesbrough, a shock loss to League Two Cambridge United in the Carabao Cup, and a draw with Hull City.
Leeds, meanwhile, have begun the 2019-20 campaign brightly, kicking off with a 3-1 win against Bristol City, drawing 1-1 with Nottingham Forest, beating Salford City 3-0 in the Carabao Cup and then running out 2-0 winners against Wigan Athletic last Saturday.
The Whites went top of the Championship table following their win over the Latics and, although Sheffield Wednesday deposed them on Tuesday night, they could return there depending on how Wednesday night’s fixtures pan out.

“I know we are only going to get better and better and better this season,” Frank told the Wandsworth Guardian. “It’s up to me to do it as quick as possible. I think the second half performance at Middlesbrough fills me with confidence, the first half against Birmingham fills me with confidence, and the last 25 minutes against Hull fills me with confidence ahead of the Leeds tie.”
On the subject of the Elland Road side, the Dane said: “We played two games last year that were very even, we respect them, they play fantastic football. I admire the manager Marcelo Bielsa massively, but we are confident and believe we can go up there and win.”
The game will also see Pontus Jansson make his return to Elland Road after leaving Leeds for Brentford this summer, the Swedish defender having clocked up 120 appearances for the Whites, according to Transfermarkt.
