Celtic will face Old Firm rivals Rangers in the Scottish Cup this month.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has told The Scottish Sun that he wants his team to peak for the Scottish Cup tie against Rangers this month.
The Bhoys will take on Old Firm rivals Rangers at Hampden Park in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup on April 23.
The Hoops have two more matches to play before the game against the Gers – against Kilmarnock at Celtic Park and against Ross County away from home at the Global Energy Stadium.
Celtic won the Scottish Premiership title last weekend, but on Wednesday they played out a 1-1 draw with Partick Thistle at home.
Speaking after the match, Rodgers said that he wants his players to peak for the semi-final tie against Rangers, as he explained the changes he made to his team against Thistle.
“Our job is to peak for the semi,” Rodgers told The Scottish Sun. “This is why I needed to make the changes. If I didn’t make them against Thistle, I made them against Kilmarnock this weekend.
“Then we are building into the Ross County game and then the Rangers games. That might mean some players who are asked to play in the semi-final, would maybe have had one game in 18 days.
“You’re always trying to gauge the momentum of your team and I thought this was the game to make the changes.
“But over the course of the next couple of games the team will be pretty stable to give us that momentum to hopefully arrive in a peak condition for the semi-final.”
Rodgers’s comments highlight just how seriously he is taking the Scottish Cup semi-final tie against Rangers, and the Gers should be warned.
Celtic have nothing to play for in the league this season, except not losing their unbeaten record, and it seems that Rodgers has already started planing for the cup tie.
The Hoops will head into the match as favourites, and the way they are approaching the tie should be a warning to the Gers.
