Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has already made a wonderful start to life at Parkhead.
Brendan Rodgers has told the Daily Mirror that he wants to stay at Celtic for as long as possible, as he does not see the Glasgow club as a stepping stone.
Rodgers has made a wonderful start to life at Celtic, with the Bhoys yet to be beaten in domestic action under his stewardship.
It has already been suggested that it will not be long before a Premier League club comes in for the 43-year-old.
However, Rodgers insists that he hasn’t moved back to Celtic to earn a switch back to England.
He said: “I don’t see it as a stepping stone. I’m going to be coaching hopefully for another 20 odd years, and it is highly unlikely I’m going to be at Celtic for 20 years because of how the modern game works, but my intention is to be at Celtic for as long as I possibly can, to help the club grow and develop, and to take it as far as I possibly can.
“I grew up supporting the club and I’m very fortunate. For me, I’m living the dream, being the manager of Celtic.”
Rodgers has already won over Celtic supporters, as the progress they have made under his guidance has been vast.
Although Ronny Deila delivered the Scottish Premiership title in both his seasons in charge, the side never dominated like they have done under Rodgers.
Celtic are already eight points clear of their nearest challengers, and they have games in hand over all their rivals.
The Bhoys have also already won a trophy this season, after they lifted the League Cup last month.
