Could Celtic star Scott Brown get a new contract?
Brown has been on the books of Celtic since 2007 and has a contract with the Glasgow giants until June 2018, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The Scotland international is one of the best midfielders in the Scottish Premiership and is an integral player in the team.
The former Hibernian star had a successful season with the Hoops last season. Brown was a key figure in Celtic winning the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup during the 2016-17 campaign.

Celtic manager Rodgers has spoken highly of Brown, and has suggested that he wants the 32-year-old to remain at Celtic Park beyond next season.
The former Liverpool boss has also stated that the midfielder is entertaining an exciting stage in his career.
“Scott is someone I want here — that’s for sure,” Rodgers told The Scottish Sun. “He’s a remarkable player who will go down as one of the greatest captains in the history of this club.
“He’s done it over ten years here but what he did last season puts him alongside the greatest captains. He’s still hungry and driven to keep winning and performing. You see the level he’s at.
“He’s turned 32 but is coming to an exciting period in his career. He’s definitely someone I’ll be looking to do something with. He and I have talked about it a few times. He’ll be around for another few years yet.”
Given Brown’s quality and importance, it would make sense for Celtic to hand the Scotsman a new contract and keep him at the club for a few more years.
