According to Het Nieuwsblad, Liverpool are keen to sign Leicester City maestro Youri Tielemans.
The Belgian news outlet claim that Jürgen Klopp is eyeing the 24-year-old as a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum, who will leave Anfield when his contract expires next month.
It will surely cost a monumental fee to prise Tielemans away from Leicester.
After all, Manchester United ended up paying £85 million for Harry Maguire, and the 37-cap Belgium international is far more important to the Foxes than he ever was, in our view.
One man associated with Liverpool, who’s understandably a huge fan of Tielemans, is ex-Reds boss Brendan Rodgers.
The Leicester manager has previously waxed lyrical about his No.8, who is getting better and better with each game.
The Scottish Farmer quote Rodgers as saying: “He is a really important player, he is a joy to work with and has incredible maturity for a young guy.”

It’s no surprise to see these comments.
Tielemans is fast becoming a Leicester hero
Tielemans – who earns £33,038-a-week at the King Power Stadium – is quickly becoming a cult hero in the Midlands.
It was his stunning strike against Chelsea at Wembley which secured Leicester’s first ever FA Cup.
In total, Tielemans netted nine goals this season, while also providing six assists.
He is the definition of a box-to-box midfielder, who would absolutely thrive in Klopp’s gegenpressing system, in our view.

However, as aforesaid, Liverpool would surely need to break the bank to complete this deal.
Liverpool’s current club-record fee stands at the £75 million paid to Southampton for Virgil van Dijk.
If Leicester asked for less than that for Tielemans, we’d be surprised.
Klopp might have to obliterate his transfer record if he really does want the former Anderlecht man at Anfield.
