Former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, now at Celtic, has been linked with Arsenal.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has suggested to The Daily Mail why he has been linked with Arsenal.
According to a recent report in The Mirror, the former Liverpool and Swansea City boss is among the candidates to replace Arsene Wenger as the Arsenal manager at the end of the season.
Rodgers has also admitted that he does not expect himself to be at Celtic forever, having been in charge of the Glasgow giants since the summer of 2016.

“I’m loving my life up here,” Rodgers told The Daily Mail. “I’m not going to be here forever, but I’m living in a dream.
“And dreams always come to an end at some point, that’s for sure. But I am always relaxed about speculation and what not.”
“People will look at it and see that I went to Liverpool, they were struggling for five seasons for Champions League football and I was able to get them back,” added Rodgers.
“And when I came to Celtic, they hadn’t been in the Champions League for three seasons and I got them back.
“So maybe people are thinking – okay, Arsenal have been out of the Champions League and is that maybe the equation for someone like myself.”

Good candidate?
Rodgers is a very good manager who knows the Premier League inside out and would be a good boss for Arsenal.
The 45-year-old did a wonderful time during his time at Liverpool, who almost won the Premier League title during the 2013-14 season.
The football that Rodgers plays is very attractive to the eye, and perhaps that is another reason why he has been linked with Arsenal.
Celtic have become a much better team under Rodgers, whose departure from Celtic Park could make it tough for the Glasgow giants to find a suitable successor.
