Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic won against Hamilton Academical today.

Weah – signed on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window, as announced on Celtic’s official website – started for the Hoops against Hamilton at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
The Glasgow giants won the match 3-0 with ease, but 18-year-old USA international striker Weah failed to score.
The youngster was substituted in the 63rd minute, and although Rodgers was pleased with teenager’s performance, he suggested that the striker should have scored once.
Rodgers told Celtic’s official website about Weah: “It was a chance to give Timothy a start today. He was bright. There wasn’t a lot of space for him to work in but he still worked very hard.
“There was one chance that he’ll feel he could have done better with. He made a really good contribution and set the game up for us in the final half-hour.”

Promising talent
Weah scored against Airdrieonians and St Mirren since his loan move from PSG, and the teenager has been superb for the Hoops so far.
True, the youngster should have scored from the good chance he had, but it is too much to ask an 18-year-old to score in each and every game.
The USA international can only improve and progress in the coming weeks, and Celtic fans should be pleased with how the teenager has settled in at the club so far.
