Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers managed Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard when he was at Anfield.

Rodgers, who has been in charge of Celtic since the summer of 2016, managed former England international midfielder Gerrard when he was the manager of Liverpool.
The 37-year-old, now retired, is one of the best players to have ever featured in the Premier League and one of the greatest ever midfielders in Liverpool history.
Former Swansea City manager Rodgers has outlined how Gerrard is similar to 32-year-old Scotland international Brown, who has been on the books of the Glasgow giants since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million.

“I seen it over many years, seen it working with Steven Gerrard,” Rodgers told The Scottish Sun about Gerrard and Brown.
“Every player that came up against Steven would raise their game 10 to 15 per cent because they are up against a top player and Browny has the same up here.
“Every week, every player who comes up against him knows how good he is so they always see it as a real test.”

Brown is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership and is one of the best midfielders in Scotland.
The former Hibernian star is playing well at the moment, and even at the age of 32, he does not seem to be showing any signs of slowing down.
