Callum McGregor scored for Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic at the weekend.

Rodgers made the comments following Celtic’s 3-0 win against Hamilton Academical at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend.
McGregor played well for the Hoops on Saturday afternoon, and the 25-year-old Scotland international central midfielder also scored the opening goal for the Glasgow giants in the 40th minute.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the midfielder has scored two goals and provided eight assists in 22 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Hoops so far this season.
Celtic manager Rodgers has suggested that he could rest McGregor, who has been a regular for the Glasgow giants so far this campaign and is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership.
Rodgers told Celtic’s official website about McGregor: “I’ll rest him at some point but the midfielders we’ve had available in that time has made it very difficult for me.
“There will be games where, every now and then, I might have to rest him. He has this incredible stamina and has wonderful legs in the game.”

Maryan Shved
Meanwhile, Frank McAvennie has suggested that Celtic will send Maryan Shved out on loan after signing him in the January transfer window.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has told BBC Sport that the 21-year-old Karpaty Lviv winger is having a medical with the Hoops.
McAvennie told The Scottish Sun about Shved: “If they’re bringing this boy in, I think he’d be involved in loaning him back out and all that kind of stuff.”
