Celtic cannot get much better, but the manager will try to improve them this winter it seems.
Brendan Rodgers has told The Scotsman that he will strengthen Celtic in January – providing the right players are available.
Celtic are flying high at the top of the Scottish Premiership as they sit eight points clear of second-placed Rangers with three games in hand.
With a League Cup already in the bag, Rodgers’s side have been utterly dominant in Scotland so far this season and, barring a miracle, the Northern Irishman will deliver the club’s sixth successive league title well before the campaign finishes.

But that has not stopped the former Liverpool manager from exploring the idea of improving the Hoops in the upcoming transfer window.
And the 43-year-old revealed to The Scotsman that he is thinking about bolstering his ranks, but did warn that January is not an ideal time to be buying players.
“When I analyse it and look at it for the summer, we’re thinking about the process of getting in a few players, bedding them in and having them up and running by the time we come back in for our pre-season, so I think it’s a very important window – as long as the right players are available.

“That’s the difficult bit, because at that time, sometimes they’re not. If you can do some business, though, it can be advantageous.
“Again, it’s dependent upon availability – you might see someone you love and he might want to come but his club doesn’t want to sell.”
The Hoops round off their Champions League group-stage campaign with a trip to Manchester City on Tuesday, in the knowledge that they cannot reach the latter stages of the competition or finish third to secure entry into the Europa League.
