Celtic edged out Dundee on Saturday to preserve an 11-point lead at the top of the Premiership.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has told the club’s official website that Nir Bitton was “very good” in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Dundee.
The Bhoys preserved their 11-point lead over Glasgow Rangers – who have played two more matches – at the top of the Premiership by edging out Dundee at Parkhead yesterday.
Leigh Griffiths opened the scoring on the stroke of half time, before the Israel midfielder, making his second start for Celtic since October, doubled the lead on 57 minutes.

Marcus Haber pulled one back for the visitors with 20 minutes to go but it would not be the foundations of a comeback as Rodgers’s side held out for all three points.
The Northern Irish manager left a number of his heavy hitters on the bench in what was a weakened side ahead of a gruelling run of fixtures, with four matches in the next 14 days.
Bitton, who has started 10 matches in all competitions this season, was given a rare starting berth and the former Liverpool boss reserved praise for him afterwards.

“Some of those players haven’t played for a long time – like Nir Bitton, who got tired a little bit towards the end but, in the main, he was very good,” he told the club’s official website.
Celtic have home games with Partick and Ross County either side of Christmas day, with a trip to Hamilton coming on December 24. On December 31 they go to Ibrox for a clash with Rangers.
