Celtic managed to bounce back from defeat and beat Partick Thistle last night.

But Rodgers’ side picked themselves up quickly, to win 2-0 against Partick last night.

Celtic may not have been quite at their best, but they were always comfortable at Parkhead last night.
And Rodgers was pleased with the way that his players bounced back from their first disappointment in domestic competition since he took charge.
Celtic took the lead against Partick when Stuart Armstrong fired them in front, and Kieran Tierney doubled the Bhoys’ advantage in the second half.
Celtic have now extended their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to five points, with Rodgers’ side looking to begin their next unbeaten run.
Celtic are next in action on Saturday, when they take on Aberdeen at Parkhead.
