Celtic continue to steamroll their way through the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers celebrates
Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers spoke to reporters following his side’s superb 5-1 victory over bitter rivals Rangers, and explained how his only disappointment from the game was that his side did not score more goals, broadcast on Sky Sports on Aril 29th at 19:28.
Celtic have been irresistible this season, and currently sit 27 points clear of second placed Aberdeen in the table.
The Bhoys are on course to win their first treble since 2001, with only the Scottish Cup final against the Dons standing between them and a place in the history books.
Rodgers deserves great credit for how he has guided his side through the domestic campaign unbeaten thus far, and must be applauded for his player recruitment last summer.
The likes of Scott Sinclair and Moussa Dembele have taken the Scottish Premiership by storm, and the only challenge for Rodgers’ team now is to find a way of becoming more competitive on the continent.

Celtic should enjoy this moment while they can though – there will not be too many occasions when they will be 27 points clear at the top after beating their arch rivals 5-1 on their own patch.
Rodgers though, highlighted one particular area of the game where he thought his side could have done better, when speaking to reporters, broadcast on Sky Sports at 19:28 on Saturday April 29th:
“An outstanding team performance I thought, from the very first whistle. We were exceptional really. The only disappointment was that I thought we could have had more goals. We created really good chances to have scored more.”
With a mentality like that, it is no wonder that Celtic have been so dominant this season. Rangers have a lot of catching up to do, that’s for sure.
