Celtic will make signings in the January transfer window, says manager Brendan Rodgers.

The Bhoys are going strong in the Scottish Premiership at the moment and look set to win the title yet again this season.
The Hoops should also clinch the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup, as well as progress to the Europa League from the Champions League.
Celtic already have a strong squad – the best in Scotland at the moment – but Rodgers has stated that he will make signings in the January transfer window.

“I will look to go into the market in January,” Rodgers told The Scottish Sun. “When you are winning and strong, that’s when you have to strengthen. It’s inverted in Scotland, arguably the most important window here is January.
“There are one or two areas we want to strengthen, but it’s always about availability and affordability. We know what we want and there is a process ongoing to hopefully get the right players in.”
“If we are in the Europa League doesn’t make a difference in terms of players coming in,” added Rodgers. “We need to strengthen.”

Celtic should win the Scottish Premiership this season with their current squad, but if they want to make an impact in Europe if they are in the Europa League after Christmas, then they need to make signings in the January transfer window.
Moreover, the Glasgow giants should also start preparing for next season and start thinking about qualifying for the 2018-19 Champions League campaign from the middle of the season.
