Liverpool could finish in second place again.

Liverpool need a favour from former manager Brendan Rodgers on Monday night.
The success of the Reds’ title challenge is dependent on Manchester City dropping points.
Rodgers’ Leicester are the next to face Pep Guardiola’s side.
If City win both their remaining games then Liverpool will finish second, their highest finish since 2013/14 when Rodgers were in charge.
It’s an achievement, even though they want to win the title.
Rodgers told The Mail that he believes what his Liverpool side accomplished was even better than this Reds’ team.
He said: “There’s no comparison really. Liverpool back then was at a different stage.
“We had young players, loan players. We went from eighth to second in a couple of years so it’s a different dynamic.”

Unfortunately for Rodgers, his Liverpool team regressed just as quickly as they rose nearly to the very top.
This Liverpool team is fuelled by big money buys, Alisson, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
But where Rodgers misses the point is that he had the money to spend too, after Luis Suarez was sold.
His signings missed the mark, and Rodgers ended up paying the price with his job.
