Celtic won 2-0 against Ross County yesterday to extend their lead in the Scottish Premiership.
Brendan Rodgers has told the Daily Record that his only complaint about Celtic’s performance against Ross County was that they took their foot off the gas towards the end of the contest.
Celtic ran out 2-0 winners over Ross County, and they looked dominant for much of the match.
The Bhoys opened the scoring through Eric Sviatchenko in the first half, before Stuart Armstrong added a second.
Celtic have now won 14 Scottish Premiership matches in a row, and Rodgers had very little to moan about after the game.
“My only complaint was we have to be better in the last 10 minutes of the game,” he said.
“Apart from that it was yet again an outstanding team performance.”
Celtic are still unbeaten in domestic action this season, and they have already built up a 16 point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
The Bhoys even have a game in hand over their nearest rivals, Rangers, and it seems certain that they will win their sixth successive title.
Celtic are next in action on New Year’s Eve, when they could face their toughest test of the league season so far, as they take on Rangers at Ibrox.
