Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers wants to bring in more players before the summer transfer window closes.

The Glasgow giants have signed Scott Bain, Emilio Izaguirre and Daniel Arzani (on loan from Manchester City) so far this summer.
The Scottish Premiership saints have also made the loan deal of French striker Odsonne Edouard permanent this summer.
Celtic manager Rodgers has said that he plans to add more players between now and the end of the season.
When asked if he was still targeting three or four players, Rodgers told The Daily Record: “Absolutely. There’s no change. I’ve been pretty clear, since the end of last season, what we need. So this year wasn’t a huge overhaul.
“It was about simplicity in one thing, which is quality. There is a lot of talk around all the transfers. But it’s always been very clear what we needed.
“You need to replace what you lose in order to keep that strength – and that competition.”

Encouraging for Celtic fans
Celtic have problems defensively, and it is clear that the Glasgow saints need to sign a central defender before the summer transfer window closes at the end of the month.
While it is not going to be easy for the Hoops to bring in a quality defender, it is encouraging for Celtic fans that manager Rodgers still aims to add players to his current squad.
Celtic have made a slow start to the Scottish Premiership and will not feature in the group stage of the Champions League this season.
