Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers and Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic will face each other at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby.

Rangers will face bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup this season, and following the draw at the weekend, Ibrox manager Murty revealed that the players cheered in the dressing room, as quoted by The Scottish Sun.
Celtic boss Rodgers has responded to those comments, and told Herald Scotland: “It doesn’t really concern me, to be honest, what the noise is. I am very much focused on Celtic really.”
The former Liverpool and Swansea City manager has also outlined what Rangers manager Murty has added to the team that the Gers have lacked in recent years under his predecessors – consistency.

Rodgers told Herald Scotland: “Graeme has done a good job there stabilising their squad.
“They have had some good results and one thing that they have got that they been searching for, certainly in my time up here, has been consistency.
“They have players who know what it means to play for Rangers and be in and around it and they have got some spirit now.”

Big game
Rangers and Celtic will face each other at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
The Gers will head into the Old Firm derby high on confidence and will fancy their chances of picking up all three points from the encounter.
A win against Celtic will mean that Rangers will launch a genuine challenge for the Scottish Premiership title this season.
