Dedryck Boyata was in action for Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic against RB Leipzig.

Boyata was in action for Celtic against Leipzig away from home in Europa League Group B on Thursday evening.
The 27-year-old defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Hoops lost 2-0.
Celtic manager Rodgers was impressed with the performance produced by the Belgium international, and has said that he was outstanding in the match.

Rodgers told The Scottish Sun: “Unfortunately Boyata – who I thought was outstanding tonight – won’t be available at the weekend.”
Over the course of the 90 minutes on Thursday evening, hosts Leipzig had 51% of the possession, took 19 shots of which three were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Celtic had 49% of the possession, took seven shots of which one was on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.
The defeat to Leipzig means that Celtic are now third in Europa League Group B with three points from as many matches, as many as six points behind leaders RB Salzburg.
