Liverpool are going strong in the Premier League at the moment.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has told talkSPORT that Liverpool can win the Premier League title this season.
Liverpool are at the top of the league table at the moment with 26 point from 11 matches.
The Merseyside outfit are a point clear of second-placed Chelsea and are very much in the running for the league title.
Former Liverpool and Swansea City manager Rodgers, who was appointed in his current role at Celtic in the summer, believes that Jurgen Klopp’s side can win the Premier League title this season.
“Yeah. I don’t think there is any question,” Rodgers told talkSPORT when asked if Liverpool can win the title this season. “Jurgen has gone in and done great.
“You have the time to prepare your team and it is an advantage [having no European football]. You think of all the others that have the European games.
“You have the time to prepare during the week, you can conserve energy in the right moments, and then you can go full in to your press and pressure [game].”
Liverpool have played brilliantly so far this season and have been hugely entertaining to watch.
The Reds, though, will face tough competition to win the Premier League title during the 2016-17 campaign.
Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are also aiming to win the championship.
Liverpool will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League.
The Merseyside outfit will fancy their chances of picking up all three points from the encounter.
