Celtic won against Motherwell at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has told BBC Radio Scotland (17:13) that his side could have scored as many six goals against Motherwell.

Rodgers was pleased with the performance of Celtic, and has said that his side could have scored as many as six goals.
The former Liverpool and Swansea City manager has also stated that he was impressed with Liam Henderson.
The 20-year-old midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.

“I think everyone can see we played very well,” Rodgers told BBC Radio Scotland (17:13). “We only scored two goals, but it could have been four, five or six.
“We restricted them to no goals on target and it was a very professional performance. I was really pleased with young Liam Henderson coming in today.”
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Celtic had 54% of the possession, took 24 shots of which nine were on target, and earned nine corners, according to BBC Sport.
