Brendan Rodgers has showered praise on Celtic star James Forrest.

Celtic winger James Forrest has been in sparkling form this season, and has been receiving praise from his manager and club teammates.
The 26-year-old always had the potential after breaking as a youngster from the club’s academy, but he wasn’t always consistent.
He is one of the many Celtic players to have improved a lot under Brendan Rodgers. He scored twice in Saturday’s 5-1 victory against Motherwell, and took the goal tally to 10 this season.

It seems like Rodgers is getting the very best out of him this term, and with Patrick Roberts potentially out for up to three months, there is an opportunity for Forrest to make a huge impact.
Rodgers has hailed him as a “brilliant” player who is a goal threat. The former Liverpool manager believes that he is high on confidence at the moment, and labels him as a “big talent”.

“He is a goal threat – inside of his left foot, outside of his right, two brilliant finishes,” Rodgers said, as quoted by BBC.
“And, like I say, he is high in confidence and I’m delighted to see it because he is a big talent and still so young, so much ahead of him.”
“For me, he has been brilliant. It has been a joy to see him grow and develop in my time here.
