Celtic are interested in signing Patrick Roberts on loan from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

According to a report on BBC Sport last week, Celtic want to secure the services of the winger on a season-long loan deal this summer.
Rodgers has said that talks are going on, and his update on the future of the youngster is surely going to excite the Celtic fans.
“It is ongoing,” Rodgers told The Scottish Sun regarding a loan move for Roberts. “We always have to respect that he is not our player.
“He’s a City player and was involved in their squad when they went out to Girona. We have to respect that.”

Roberts enjoyed a successful 18-month loan spell at Celtic Park before returning to his parent club City earlier this summer.
The 20-year-old was a huge success at Celtic, especially last season, when he helped the Glasgow giants win the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup.
Celtic fans will welcome the former Fulham winger with open arms, as the England Under-20 international will enhance the quality of the current team.
The Glasgow giants have progressed to the group stage of the Champions League this season, and Roberts will be an important player in helping the Hoops making an impact in Europe’s premier club competition.

Meanwhile, Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham has commented on the chance to play against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Hoops have been drawn against Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Anderlecht in Champions League Group B.
“It’s a very exciting draw and I’m happy because I wanted to play against PSG,” Ntcham told The Scottish Sun. “I come from Paris. It’s special for me because when I was young I was a big PSG fan.
“I always follow the transfer stories — PSG have again spent a lot of money! It’s the first time I’ll have played against their first team. My hero as a kid was Pauleta, the striker. I loved him when he was on the pitch.
“I have two friends at the club — central defender Presnel Kimpembe and midfielder Adrien Rabiot — and I played against them when we were younger a couple of times.”
