Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted that it is still touch and go with the fitness of Erik Sviatchenko and Leigh Griffiths.

Speaking at his latest press conference, Rodgers was quizzed on the fitness of his Celtic side.

The Bhoys have a friendly match against Sunderland this weekend, before they take on Rosenborg next week in Champions League qualifying.

Celtic could only manage a disappointing 0-0 draw in the first leg against the Norwegian side.

And they travel to Rosenborg knowing that their future in the competition hangs in the balance.

One of the problems for Celtic in the first-leg was a lack of cutting edge, with Tom Rogic having to play up-front.

Moussa Dembele and Griffiths were both ruled out of the first leg of the tie.

At the moment, Griffiths’ likelihood is featuring is in some doubt, as Rodgers will be putting the Scottish international through his paces in training this week, to assess his level of fitness.
