Celtic’s Kieran Tierney and Moussa Dembele have been linked with a move away from Glasgow.

Brendan Rodgers has told the Glasgow Evening Times that Celtic have not received any bids for star duo Kieran Tierney or Moussa Dembele.

Tierney and Dembele have both attracted the attentions of clubs south of the border, after showing great form for the Bhoys this term.

The youngsters have been a key part of Brendan Rodgers’ starting line-up, and have stood out as two of the leading talents in Scotland.

Tierney and Dembele have both been linked with a host of clubs in the January transfer window, but Rodgers insists that nobody has made an offer.

“There’s not been any bids I am aware of,” said Rodgers. “There has been lots of speculation about Moussa and Kieran but nothing has come in. You don’t mind the speculation because it means they are doing well for the team.

“But everyone’s happy. They are happy to be here, working and playing well. Nothing will be happening in January regards them, or any others. We are looking to help the squad and bring some in. I’m sure one or two might go out to get games somewhere but apart from that there won’t be anything.”

Celtic's Moussa Dembele

Tierney broke into Celtic’s first-team last season under Ronny Deila, and he has become one of the Glasgow club’s most consistent defenders since.

Tierney actually missed a chunk of this season with injury, but he has returned to full health now.

Dembele, meanwhile, only joined Celtic last summer – but he has quickly become Rodgers’ side’s most effective attacker.

Dembele has already racked up 37 appearances for Celtic in all competitions, and he has scored 20 times.
