Celtic won against Dundee at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

Hendry featured for Dundee in their Scottish Premiership game against Celtic away from home at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 22-year-old defender started the match and played for 71 minutes, as the home team won 1-0.
Celtic boss Rodgers was impressed with the display produced by the former Partick Thistle and Wigan Athletic defender’s display.

“The boy Hendry at the back I thought was excellent,” Rodgers told The Scottish Sun. “He’s quick and strong and is a good size.
“Scotland need centre halves and that looks like a good kid. He’s tall, he can run and he can pass. He looks a talent.”

Hendry is a very talented and promising young defender, and given that he is only 22 years of age, he has time on his hand to develop and improve.
The youngster joined Dundee only in the summer of 2017 and has done quite well in the Scottish Premiership.
Although the 22-year-old is not at that level yet to play for Celtic, it would make sense for the Glasgow giants to monitor his progress this season with a view to making an offer next summer.
