Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic signed Lewis Morgan in the January transfer window.

The Hoops will take on St. Johnstone in the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup.
Rodgers has suggested that Morgan could play in the tie and has also praised the 21-year-old’s attitude.
The Scotland international winger has been on the sidelines with a knee injury, but the youngster appears to have recovered.
Rodgers told The Scottish Sun: “Lewis Morgan isn’t far away. He’s looked really good, really strong and dynamic. He’s hungry to play.
“I’m proud of our cup record, but it is always difficult to preserve something like that.”

Good player
Morgan is a very good and promising young winger, and the Scotland international is going to be an important player for Celtic as the season progresses.
Celtic signed the 21-year-old from St. Mirren in the January transfer window for a fee reported by The Daily Record to be worth £300,000.
The youngster spent the second half of last season on loan at the Buddies and helped them win promotion from the Scottish Championship to the Scottish Premiership.
Performances
Meanwhile, Rodgers has suggested that Celtic’s performances this season may not be as good as they were during the past two seasons.
Rodgers told The Scottish Sun: “I don’t think we’re anywhere near the level of our game. We haven’t been as dynamic as we have been in the last couple of years. It might be a season for us like that.”
