The midfielder has impressed for Celtic in recent weeks.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has praised Stuart Armstrong, saying his resurgence is down to the player’s own hard work.
The midfielder is enjoying something of an upturn in his Celtic career at present, having starred in their last two games.
First, he put an impressive display in the Scottish League Cup semi-final win over Rangers last Sunday.
He then followed that up with a strong showing in the 2-0 win over Ross County in midweek, creating the opening for Patrick Roberts opening goal and then scoring the second himself.

That has earned praise from his manager, who says they simply gave him the confidence to flourish in the team.
“He’s super bright, a very clever boy,” he told the club’s official website.
“He thinks about the game, his role in the team and he’s starting to flourish now and that’s all down to him. We just gave him the confidence to play the role, understand his job and he can go out and flourish.”

Armstrong’s upturn in form has coincided with him making a return to the left flank.
He has played all over the midfielder during his time with the Hoops and was arguably brought into the club based on his performances for Dundee United in a central attacking midfielder role.
Rodgers, though, sees the midfielder playing in any one of the central areas moving forward.
“I can see him in anyone of the three central midfield areas, whether it’s a No.10 or just sat in behind,” he added.
“Anywhere centrally where he can use his power and pace to break forward, that’s his best position and hopefully over the coming years you’ll really see the benefits of him.”
