Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has said that Kieran Tierney does not know how good he is, as quoted by The Glasgow Evening Times.

Tierney is one of the best young defenders in Europe and is a key figure in the current Celtic team.

The 20-year-old left-back Scotland international has established himself in the Hoops’ first team and has been playing well.

Celtic manager Rodgers has spoken highly of the Scottish youngster, and has said that he does not know how good he is.

“Kieran is one of these old school boys in terms of his qualities, determination and he works hard every single day,” The Glasgow Evening Times quotes Rodgers as saying.

“He’s a really good boy, he actually doesn’t know how good he is, which is nice. He has no ego, he just comes in every day and works. And he is a huge Celtic fan.”

Tierney has a very bright future ahead of him, and working with Rodgers is only going to help the young left-back grow and develop.
