Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has told the club’s official website that a negative by-product of their recent success is the busy schedule they have coming up.
The Hoops have enjoyed a strong start to the season and currently sit top of the Scottish Premiership table, sitting four points clear.
They have also managed to secure their place in the Champions League group stages after a two-year absence from the competition.
They now enter a very busy fixture schedule between now and the New Year as they face 19 games in all competitions.

It is sure to be a stern test of the Scottish champions resources and Rodgers says it is a negative aspect of their success but they can’t complain.
“We go into the next block of seven games before the next international break,” he told the club’s official website.
“After that, November to December is very busy. That comes from success so we can’t complain.”
“The players work very hard here and will be ready for any games they are needed to play in. Having so many games is because you are successful.”

It will be interesting to see where Celtic put their priorities with both domestic and European football to contend.
The impressive draw against Manchester City in the Champions League will have raised hopes that they could challenge for more than a third-placed finish in Group C.
Focusing on Europe could end up negatively effecting their league form, though, and it will make for fascinating viewing to see how Brendan Rodgers balances it.
