Brendan Rodgers will look for summer signings – but there won’t be a raft of signings arriving.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has told The Scottish Sun that there is ‘no chance’ of the Bhoys making a raft of new signings at the end of the season.
The Bhoys continued their unbeaten domestic season with a 4-1 Scottish Cup win over St Mirren on Sunday afternoon, with Rodgers on his way to completing a domestic treble.
Celtic clinched the Scottish League Cup by hammering Aberdeen 3-0 in November, and are set to win the Scottish Premiership title yet again, given that they sit 27 points clear at the top of the table.
Sunday’s win over St Mirren has set up a semi-final clash with Rangers, with Celtic closing in on another cup win and one step closer to that treble.
Despite such a remarkable first season at Celtic Park, manager Rodgers will be looking for new signings ahead of the summer transfer window, having brought in just one new signings in January.
Midfielder Eboue Kouassi arrived from Krasnodar in January, whilst Rodgers brought in the likes of Moussa Dembele, Scott Sinclair, Kolo Toure, Dorus De Vries and Cristian Gamboa last summer.

Now, Rodgers has told The Scottish Sun that he will look for ‘a few players’ who can make a difference to the Celtic side this summer, but told fans there wouldn’t be a raft of signings.
Rodgers stated that he wants to ‘stabilise the group’ at Celtic Park and let them understand his long-term ideas, noting that it’s currently working well, and he doesn’t want too much disruption.
“In the summer we will look to getting a few players who can really increase that level of output and add to a good core,” said Rodgers. “There won’t be a raft of signings — no chance. I need to stabilise the group, let them understand what the idea is. You can see it working well,” he added.
