Sinclair came off the bench for Celtic in the Scottish League Cup and he showcased his talents at Hampden Park.
The 29-year-old was a constant threat throughout the match, as he got on the scoresheet during Celtic’s confident victory.
The former England international dazzled with his dribbling skill, as he constantly put Hearts’ defence on the back foot.
It is true that Sinclair’s form dipped for Celtic last term, after a blistering first season in Scotland, but Rodgers has overlooked him too often this time around.
The £25,000-a-week forward (Daily Star) has not started for Celtic in the Europa League, and he only has two starts to his name in the league.
But the Bhoys just cannot continue to overlook Sinclair, given the destructive influence he can have on matches.
And Rodgers has now been given all the evidence he needs that Sinclair should be given a run of games in Celtic’s starting line-up to see if he can re-kindle his best form again.
