Celtic defender Kolo Toure could reportedly take on a coaching role at the club.

Celtic defender Kolo Toure could take on a coaching role at the club, according to The Sun.
The 36-year-old centre-back joined the Bhoys in the summer of 2016, and his current contract runs out at the end of the season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Toure has yet to be offered a new contract by the Glasgow giants, although Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers suggested to The Scottish Sun last month that the defender could be handed a new deal.

The defender is 36 years of age and is past his prime, and even this season he is not guaranteed a place in the Hoops’ starting lineup.
The former Arsenal and Liverpool defender has made only 11 starts in all competitions for Celtic so far this season, as stated on the Hoops’ official website.
However, if Toure is kept on as a player-coach, then it would be a masterstroke from Rodgers. The former Ivory Coast international could play from time to time, and help his fellow defenders on the pitch.
Rodgers is a very good coach, and working under the former Liverpool manager is only going to help Toure learn a lot more about the coaching side of the game.
