Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers urged the club’s fans to get right behind their team tomorrow night.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is seen during a training session at Lennoxtown Training Centre on April 27, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers addressed the media today, ahead of his side’s clash with Rosenborg in the Europa League tomorrow, and pleaded with the Parkhead faithful to get behind his team from the very first whistle, as quoted by the Celtic Star.

The Hoops have made a fairly underwhelming start to their 2018/19 campaign, having taken just 10 points from their opening five league games, and they currently sit five points adrift of league leaders Hearts.

Tomorrow’s Europa League clash against Rosenborg will provide some welcome respite from domestic competition, however.

Rodgers spoke to reporters before his side’s clash with the Norwegian outfit, and pleaded with the Celtic fans to get behind their team tomorrow night, as quoted by the Celtic Star:

“We would like to start with a great crowd, we want the stands to be full – everyone of course wants the Champions League – but this is still a very important competition for us. I would say to the Celtic supporters to come out, give us your great support because that it is vital for us to do well.”

The Glasgow giants have really struggled on the continent in recent years, and they will be looking for a comfortable win over Rosenborg to banish recent memories of their difficulties in Europe.

And if Parkhead is bouncing, they have every chance of doing just that.
