Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has told The Express that his side are favourites to win against Rangers next weekend.
The Bhoys will take on Old Firm rivals Rangers at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership next Saturday afternoon.
Rodgers believes that Celtic will head into the match in Glasgow as favourites.

“I would say going into this game, there’s a bit of justification in saying it (Celtic favourites),” Rodgers told The Express. “I think the proof is there for that.”
“I think here, with justification, people can look at the team at the moment in this very early stage, there’s a real vibrancy and energy in the team, there’s an aggression in the team, and I’m happy with the team as well,” added the former Liverpool and Swansea City manager.

Rangers fans may not like it, but Celtic are indeed favourites to win the Scottish Premiership game next weekend.
Not only are the Hoops at home for the match, but they are also in better form.
Rodgers’s side have been scoring goals for fun so far this season, and they should be able to put at least two past Rangers.
However, Rangers do have some very good players who can make things tough for Celtic.
The likes of Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar will be important for the Gers against the Hoops next Saturday afternoon.
It is hard to see Celtic, who will play in the Champions League this season, lose the Scottish Premiership match against Mark Warburton’s side, but one should not be surprised if Rangers eke out a draw at Celtic Park.
