Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has been singing the praises of Moussa Dembele.

Dembele has spent almost 18 months at Celtic, and during that time he has emerged as one of the top talents in Scotland.
Dembele has been a prolific scorer ever since moving to the Bhoys, and his reputation only increased after he scored against PSG in the Champions League last night.

Dembele’s performance against PSG was a bright point, despite Cetic’s heavy defeat against the Ligue 1 champions.
And, even before that match, Rodgers was signing the praises of the French forward.
He said: “I have seen a big development in him as a young man and as a player and I really expect him over the coming years to develop and improve and go on to be one of the world’s best strikers.
“I have been fortunate in my coaching and managerial career to have worked with some of the best strikers in the world and he is certainly working his way towards being that and hopefully in time he will be one.”

Rodgers’ words may increase Dembele’s confidence, but it also shows why Celtic are fighting a losing battle to keep hold of him for the long-term.
It is almost inevitable that Dembele will leave Parkhead in the coming years, if he goes on to achieve his potential.
And Celtic fans would be wise to enjoy Dembele while they have him, as players of his quality do not come around often.
