Mikael Lustig has made 24 appearances for Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side so far this season.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that he wants to keep Mikael Lustig at Parkhead.
Lustig has made 24 appearances for the Bhoys this season, with his versatility proving useful.
The Swedish international has been used as both a centre-back and a full-back over the campaign so far.
And Rodgers has been very impressed by what he has seen from Lustig both on and off the field.
Lustig’s current Celtic contract is due to expire at the end of next season, so the two parties are likely to enter discussions over a new deal relatively soon.

The 29-year-old has played his part as Celtic have made a very impressive start to the new campaign.
The Bhoys won their first silverware of the campaign by beating Aberdeen in the League Cup in their most recent outing, and they have also established an eight point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Celtic are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Motherwell at Fir Park.
