Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has already been impressed with the impact Scott Sinclair has made in training.

Sinclair’s form at Celtic dipped last term, with the former England international failing to replicate his performances during his first season in Glasgow.

However, Rodgers says that he has already seen a change in Sinclair’s attitude to Celtic training over pre-season.

“Scott Sinclair was our top goalscorer last year and he wasn’t even in the team every week,” Rodgers said.
“He has come back super hungry and you can see the difference in Scott. The first two weeks he has come back the Scott Sinclair I have known from Chelsea, Swansea and the one I brought here in the first year.”
Celtic have been back at work for the past two weeks, as Rodgers gets them ready for the new term.
The Bhoys are currently in Austria, where they are being put through their paces.

Sinclair’s future at Parkhead was actually speculated about towards the back end of last campaign, but it seems that he is set to stay in Scotland now.
Sinclair is likely to be a key member of Celtic’s line-up when the season begins, especially now Patrick Roberts has departed.
Celtic’s season gets underway in a week’s time, when they take on Alashkert in the Champions League.
