Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side have enjoyed having Patrick Roberts for the last two and a half years at Parkhead.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has suggested to the Scottish Sun that Patrick Roberts is a target.
The Manchester City man set pulses racing at Parkhead after he hinted that a move to Celtic is not something that he would rule out this summer.
Celtic have had Roberts on loan from City for the last two and a half seasons, but they are yet to complete a permanent deal for the wide man.
Roberts was expected to leave City to join an English club this summer, but with the transfer window edging closer to shutting, he still remains with Pep Guardiola’s side.
The 21-year-old appears to have no chance of breaking into City’s first-team, which means that a move to Celtic could appeal.
And Rodgers has suggested that Roberts could well interest the Bhoys, if they can agree a deal.

The Celtic boss said: “I think Patrick is one of those players you look at and then you see what happens over the next period of time.
“He has obviously been away with Man City and he is there. Our eyes are open to lots of options.
“Patrick is a fantastic player and we are always going to be interested in top class players.”
If Roberts was brought to Celtic it is likely that he would have an important role to play for Rodgers’ side.
Roberts was one of Celtic’s leading attacking talents during his time with Parkhead, and he remains a fans’ favourite with the Bhoys.
