Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side are set to take on Partick later this evening.
Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that James Forrest is Celtic’s only injury doubt for their match against Partick Thistle this evening, with Scott Sinclair definitely out.
Forrest had scans yesterday to assess the severity of a problem which he has picked up during the week.
And Rodgers admits that the winger may not be fit, which could create an opening for Gary Mackay-Steven.
Forrest has been in excellent form for Celtic since Rodgers took charge, and he looks to be fulfilling his potential.
The Scotland international has previously shown flashes of quality, but he has rarely been consistent.
If Forrest is kept out it will be a blow for the Bhoys, but Mackay-Steven is capable cover.
Mackay-Steven has missed all of the campaign with injury so far, but he impressed in his comeback against Manchester City in midweek.
If Celtic are able to beat Partick this evening they will move 11 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
