Rogic starred in Celtic’s 5-0 win over Rangers on Sunday.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has lauded playmaker Tom Rogic in an interview with TalkSPORT on Monday morning after the Australian starred against Rangers on Sunday.
The 25-year-old got his name on the score sheet as the Hoops earned an excellent 5-0 win over their bitter rivals, curling home a superb effort from the edge of the box beyond a stranded Jak Alnwick for Celtic’s fourth.
Rogic spent almost five months on the sidelines with a knee injury earlier this season, but has still managed to score eight goals and lay on a further eight assists.

Rodgers heaped praise on the Australia international, describing him as a naturally intuitive player and one that can be effective in the big games since the former Liverpool manager arrived at Celtic Park.
“He’s one of those players that just finds space naturally,” Rodgers said. “He’s got a real in-built brain for football. How he takes the ball on the turn, always takes the team forward.
“What he does, in my time up here, in big games he scores big goals. Whether it’s a cup final, or a semi-final or the game yesterday [Sunday], he gets himself a goal.”

Rogic, who joined Celtic in the summer of 2014 from Melbourne Victory, has just one more year remaining on his current deal which the Daily Star claim is worth £15,000 a week.
It remains to be seen where the left-footed star’s future lies, as he continues to shine in green and white with the summer transfer window two months away.
